WASHINGTON - Sept. 18, 2020 - The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) awarded Lola Pyne, owner of Oasis Soul Scent Co., the 2020 NAWBO Minority-Owned Women's Business "Brave Is" Exhibitor Scholarship. Oasis Soul Scent Co. is a Maryland-based candle and scented goods company whose products are inspired by soulful music. Its offerings include an array of luxurious candles, body scrubs, body oils, sprays, and shower steamers.

The "Brave Is" scholarship awards recipients registration to the Virtual National Women's Business Conference, taking place September 21-23, 2020, in addition to exhibiting their business in the virtual exhibit hall during the conference and for one month on the conference vFairs platform. Other perks include:

·         1-year membership for the National Association of Women's Business Owners (for non-members)

·         Roundtable discussions with AARP scholarship recipients (September 21-23) at the National Women Business Conference

·         Extended accountability groups six (6) months after National Women Business Conference facilitated by NAWBO
